Swimsuit Colors and Prints

It can be just as difficult to find the right color swimsuit as it is to find the correct style for your body type. We have some key points to help guide in determining what color goes best with your skin complexion and to help you avoid making the common mistakes when selecting swimsuit color versus your skin complexion.

The most common mistakes and maybe the most noticeable color matching mistakes can be found with fair skin complexions. Many people tend to think that white is a bad or good color on very fair skin. The best answer to this is it depends on what kind of fair skin you have. If you are a fair skinned red head, then a white swimsuit can actually look very good on you. Fair skinned brunettes can also pull off a white swimsuit. The times where white swimsuits gets a little washed out is when the skin is very fair and the person has blond hair.

If you are very fair and have blond hair you may want to get a black swimsuit instead of white. Prints also make for a great selection for fair skinned individuals. We typically advise the following colors for those with very fair skin. Brown, Red, Pastel Green and Prints that are of earthly tones.
